Just days after Hurricane Katrina President Bush gave a speech from the place where we are standing. It's in the Frech Quarter in New Orleans. We had dinner at Commander's Palace in the Garden District in NO. Chef Emerril Lagasse supposedly got his start there. Yummy!! In New Orleans we experienced some really great places and people as well as the horrid reminders of Hurricane Katrina, but it was nice to have some time away.
