Becoming a Safe Family

I'm so behind on posts that it's not funny, BUT I did want to share with you about what our family is up to. The tragic earthquake in Haiti has touched our family in a deep way and left us asking, "What does God want us to do?" I wish I could share with you how all this came about, but in short we are in the process of becoming a Safe Family. This is a program run by Bethany Christian Services. They have been asked by the state to prepare families should Haitian children be sent to the Atlanta area. We feel that our part is to be prepared if this should become a reality. There are MANY unknowns which is difficult. But we are seeking to say YES to God whatever he asks of us! Please pray with us and for us as we seek Him and wait! We do not know where this will lead, but we are excited to be on this journey with God!
