This was not my idea I'm not that clever. I've seen a few others post something similiar, BUT I thought it was a novel idea. Honestly it hadn't dawned on me that a DECADE was ending. But now that I think about it. Whew! Since the 70's get farther and farther away, I realize I'm indeed getting older.
I'll post a few times in the next few days. What were the highlights of this decade? A few things that stick out about each year....Share your too!
2000-In July of that year I met my now husband. I came home and told my mom that I had met the man I was going to marry! Made a return trip to South Africa-after having spent the summer there the previous year. Helped plan a conference for 4,000 people-possibly one of the biggest undertakings of my life! I'm still recovering.
2001-I married Kevin and moved to Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Completed a 1/2 marathon. Cleaned houses for extra money and worked as a telemarketer for oh! 2 weeks. I cried almost daily. I do not have as thick of skin as I thought! Nannie Ruby (grandmother) died.
