Micah turns 1!

We had another January b-day. Micah turned 1!. As you can see he really enjoyed his cupcake. We had a less involved family party for him. Actually we wound up having a few parties over the course of a few weeks--each time a grandparent was here. So Micah turned 1 a few times. He didn't mind. As you can see his right eye looks a little watery and swollen. He has had a clogged tear duct from birth. He recently had a minor surgery to correct this. Coley had the same problem and procedure. So we're thankful all is well. Micah's first year has been a blurr. He has lived in three different houses in his short life. Hopefully we can manage to stay in this one for a while. Micah's personality has been laid back so far, but I think he's been fooling us. He started walking and saying some words and now he has a newfound independence. He spends most of his time trying to keep up with his older siblings.
